Connect

  1. 01Open Apps, Connectors area, Microsoft 365 tile.
  2. 02On the OneDrive card, click Connect.
  3. 03Sign in with Microsoft and confirm. If your organization requires IT approval, anymize takes you to the right button.
  4. 04Done. One sign-in covers the whole suite.

Word and PowerPoint have no separate permission at Microsoft; they hang on the file rights. That is why both belong to this card, and under Manage you find them as their own switches in the Access section.

Can anymize write Word documents?

Yes, in two ways, and both show you an approval card first.

  • Create new: the assistant writes the full text with headings, lists, tables and quotes. You see file name, folder and the whole content and can change everything.
  • Append: something is added at the end of an existing document. Only at the end. Replacing the content on purpose does not exist, because an approval card could not show what would be lost.
  • Presentations: the assistant builds an outline slide by slide and creates a new file in your OneDrive from it.

The assistant cannot delete, move or rename. Those commands do not exist here. If a file is currently locked by someone, it says so and does not write.

What gets anonymized

In a storage location the file content is the sensitive part. Contracting parties, addresses, dates of birth, bank details and case numbers are replaced by placeholders before the large AI model gets the summary. "Employment contract Anna Berger, born 14.03.1988, personnel number 4711" becomes "Employment contract [[PERSON_1]], born [[GEBURTSDATUM_1]], personnel number [[NUMMER_1]]" for the model.

When the assistant writes a document, the text is created with placeholders and is only resolved in a shielded service in the EU immediately before the approval card. The file name is treated the same way, because it often already reveals the client name.
