Sage 100

The Sage 100 connector pulls customers, suppliers, items and documents from your inventory system into the anymize chat, read-only and without touching the system.

What you can do with it

Sage 100 gives the assistant four areas: customers, suppliers, items and documents. It can page through them and filter, so it can also answer questions for which you would otherwise build a report.

  • “Which suppliers do we have for this item group?”
  • “Show me all receipts for this customer from the last six months.”
  • “Which items have not moved since January?”
  • “Summarize this customer's order history.”

How to get the client ID and client secret

For Sage 100 Connected there is no self-service button for API keys. You request client ID and client secret once from Sage, and the database must be enabled for API access.

  1. 01Request a SageID client ID and client secret from Sage, usually by email to developer@sage.de with the form for your own native apps.
  2. 02In your Sage 100 have the administrator enable the database for API access.
  3. 03Note the API address and company name (dataSet). You will need both later in anymize.

Sage describes machine sign-in at https://sagegmbh.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/S1/pages/2698084353/3.2.4+Authentifizierung+Maschine+zu+Maschine+M2M . The open interface modules are at https://openapi.sage100.de

How to connect Sage 100

Without the machine access and database enablement from the section above the connection fails, no matter how correctly the fields are typed.

  1. 01In anymize open Apps, then Connectors, and search for Sage 100.
  2. 02Enter the API address, the company (dataSet), the client ID and the client secret.
  3. 03Only with a special registration do you need the extra fields for token address, scope and audience. Otherwise they stay empty.

Only https addresses are accepted. If Sage reports “not found”, the company or API address is usually wrong.

Does the AI change master data in Sage 100?

No. For each of the four resources the connector knows exactly two operations: list and filter. There is no tool that creates, changes or deletes. That is why the tile carries the “Read only” label.

In practice that means: you can also use the connector in a team where nobody should have write rights in the ERP. What is missing cannot happen by accident.

What is anonymized

Customer and supplier names, addresses, contacts, bank details and document numbers are replaced by placeholders before processing. The model sees the structure of your inventory, not the names of your business partners.
