Asana

The Asana connector brings tasks, projects and teams into the anymize chat and, with your approval, also creates new tasks.

What you can do with it

Asana is split into two areas: tasks, and projects plus workspaces, teams and sections. The assistant reads in them and, at your request, can create a task or a comment.

  • “Which tasks are due this week and still open?”
  • “What is the status of the Relocation project?”
  • “Which tasks are assigned to me and have no due date?”
  • “Create a task: review the quote by Friday.”

How to connect Asana

  1. 01In anymize open Apps, then Connectors, and search for Asana.
  2. 02Click Connect and sign in to Asana once.
  3. 03Confirm the permission. Then you choose whether the assistant may see tasks, projects or both.

Several Asana accounts work. In the connector overview you add another account for that.

Why can Asana not be connected with the company account?

That is Asana's doing, not your rights. Asana first limits new apps to a single workspace. For a whole organisation to connect, anymize must be enabled once at Asana, and only we can do that.

That is why the Asana tile has a link that requests exactly that. One click, no form. We get in touch once enablement is through.

Does the AI create tasks on its own?

No. Create task and write comment are checked actions in Asana: the assistant builds the complete entry, shows it to you and waits for your approval. Only then does it go to Asana. If you decline, nothing happens.

What is anonymized

Names of colleagues and customers, customer projects, addresses and contract numbers in task titles and descriptions are replaced by placeholders before anything goes to an AI model. The project status stays readable; the names do not leave your workspace in clear text.
