LexGraph

The LexGraph connector brings German and European law into anymize as a knowledge graph: norms, judgments, terms and their cross-references.

What you can do with it

LexGraph is a knowledge graph of norms, court decisions, legal terms and citations. The difference from pure full-text search: the assistant sees what is connected to what, and can load the full text of a decision.

  • “Which decisions rely on section 823(1) BGB in connection with data protection?”
  • “Show me the full text of this decision.”
  • “How are these two statutes related?”
  • “What does European law say about the burden of proof in this question?”

All four tools are research only. LexGraph cannot create, change or delete anything.

Why can I not connect LexGraph myself?

Because you do not have to. LexGraph is a managed connector: anymize holds the access centrally and enables it for your firm. The tile then says “active, managed”, and there is deliberately no Connect button.

With TaxGraph and Legal Data Hunter it is the other way around: everyone brings their own account and pays their own quota. With LexGraph both run through us.

  1. 01Ask support or your contact about enabling LexGraph for your firm.
  2. 02After enablement the tile appears in Connectors as active and managed.
  3. 03From then on you just ask in chat for a statute or a decision.

Because no login sits with you, there is also nothing to disconnect. If LexGraph should disappear from a workspace again, we turn it off.

How reliable are the citations?

The assistant is instructed to name the returned sources with their exact citation and file reference and not to invent links. If LexGraph finds nothing, it should say so. If the service reports a reached limit, that is reported as a limit, not as an empty result.

That does not replace your own look. Especially for a decision you want to cite, the full text should be read.

What is anonymized

LexGraph contains published law, no client data. Your own question, though, goes through the same anonymization as everything else: names of the parties, your own file reference and addresses become placeholders before a search query is made of them.

anymize is not legal advice. The results are research findings that you check.
