Skills for enterprise AI
A skill is a finished work instruction for the AI: anymize ships more than 130 of them — a skills library for teams and AI for enterprise rollouts. You call them in chat or have your own built.

What is a skill?
A skill is an instruction you give the AI once and then use as often as you like. It says how a recurring task is done cleanly: in which order a reference is reviewed, what belongs in a council briefing, how an SEO audit is structured. You supply the case, the skill holds the form.
Technically every active skill becomes a tool the AI can call. That is why it works with every model you select in anymize, and you see in chat as its own card that it ran.
A skill does not replace expertise. It makes sure the AI works as thoroughly the twentieth time as the first, and that nobody in the office has to invent a long prompt again.
Why do I need skills?
Whenever a result has a fixed form and is needed more than once. A few examples from our customers’ day-to-day:
- A law firm reviews tenancy agreements every week and always wants the same order: deadlines, invalid clauses, recommended action.
- An HR team writes employment references and wants the grade effect of every sentence under control.
- A town hall needs a transcript from an audio recording that the council can actually approve.
- A marketing team wants every text to sound like the brand, not like a template kit.
The full answer with cost, limits and the comparison to a prompt you type yourself is on the page “Why do I need skills?”.
The four packages
Related skills sit as a package in the library. One click on “Install all” brings every skill in the package into your account. Where a package comes from is stated, because almost all of them are other people’s open work that we adapted and translated.
| Package | Scope | From | For whom |
|---|---|---|---|
| Marketing Suite | 45 skills | coreyhaines31 | Marketing, sales, communications |
| SEO-Toolkit | 25 skills | AgriciDaniel | Anyone fighting for visibility on the web |
| German Law | 25 skills | Klotzkette | Law firms, legal teams, HR departments |
| Local government | 23 skills | anymize, after WhitegloveAI | Town halls, offices, council secretariats |
On top come 15 skills that belong to no package and are installed one by one, for example the human voice against AI phrasing or the employment-reference checker.
How you get a skill
- 01Open Apps in the left sidebar and go to Skills.
- 02At the bottom you switch between “My Skills” and the “Skills Library”. The library holds the packages and the individual skills from anymize.
- 03Search in the search field or filter on the left by industry, for example Law or Marketing.
- 04Click the card, read the description and install the skill or the whole package.
- 05Done. From now on the skill is ready in chat.
In chat you type a slash and pick the skill from the list, like a mention. After that you write your task.
This is what a call looks like in the input field:
/Mietrecht Review the attached tenancy agreement for invalid clauses and list every deadline due in the next 30 days.
Always on or only on demand?
For every installed skill you set under “Availability” how it should behave. There are two settings and three further ways a skill can enter a chat.
| Setting | What happens |
|---|---|
| Always | Name and description are available to the AI in every chat. It reaches for the skill on its own when it fits the task. |
| Manual | The skill stays quiet until you pick it with the slash or via the tools menu on the input field. |
| Pinned in a project | Applies automatically in every chat of that project, without you picking it again. |
| Required by the team | An admin has activated it for everyone. It runs everywhere and cannot be turned off. |
| Tied to a connector | If a skill belongs to a connection, for example Jira and Confluence, it runs as soon as that connection is in place. |
The AI builds you a skill
You are not dependent on the library. If a conversation went well, just say so in chat:
Save this as a skill.
From what you just worked out, a finished skill is created with name, description and instructions. It is active in this chat immediately and then lives under Apps and there Skills. No editor, no format to learn. Later you can sharpen it in conversation: the AI may change files of your own skills when you ask it to.
You can also bring your own skills as a file, folder, zip or from a GitHub repo. anymize uses the open SKILL.md standard, so your skills stay portable.
How many skills may I activate?
What counts are the skills you have active. Anything you deactivate again frees its slot.
| Plan | Active skills |
|---|---|
| Starter and Team Starter | 8 |
| Professional and Team Business | 25 |
| Plus and Team Enterprise | unlimited |
Skills your team distributes as required do not count against this limit. They come from the house and appear for you as active and locked.
Does the AI model see my files when a skill runs?
Not in the clear. A skill does not change what the model gets to see. If you attach a contract, a reference or a transcript, the file goes through the same anonymization as usual: names, addresses, file numbers and account numbers are replaced with placeholders first, and the answer again contains your real details.
The skill itself is only text, namely its instructions. It lives in your workspace, and who may see it is your decision when you share.
