Why “European servers” isn't enough.
Many tools advertise EU servers. That sounds good – but it doesn't protect you.
The US CLOUD Act requires American companies to hand over data – no matter where the servers are. When you use GPT or Claude, your data goes to US companies. The server location doesn't change that.
