AI literacy training (under Art. 4 EU AI Act)
Since 2 February 2025, Article 4 of the EU AI Act requires companies using AI to adequately train their staff. The training is conducted by our external data protection officer, digitalNORD GmbH (not by anymize itself), supports this requirement and provides a documented certificate of attendance – the basis for the “Trained AI use” badge.

How to get your badge
Become an anymize customer – or complete the relevant training.
Get your badge in your anymize account – as a snippet to copy, to download, or sent straight to your developer/agency by email.
Add the badge to your website. It is checked live against your account and always stays up to date.
Confirmed live
Every badge is checked live against your anymize account when it loads. The “Active user” mark only appears for a valid, active account – so the badge can't simply be copied.
What this badge is – and isn't
The anymize badges are issued by anymize and confirm the use of anymize's anonymization or participation in our trainings. They are not an independent audit and not a certification within the meaning of Art. 42 GDPR; they do not certify a company's full GDPR compliance. Responsibility for GDPR compliance remains with the company itself. The award criteria for the three levels are described on this page.
