Microsoft Teams
anymize reads your Teams chats and channels when you ask, and summarizes what you would otherwise have to scroll back for.

What you can do with it
Examples from chat
Summarize what was discussed this week in the Deadlines channel. What has the team written about the school new-build tender? Did I promise anything in the chat with Frau Berger? Which open questions are still in the Onboarding channel? Was there an agreement in chat about the Musterstraße matter?
- Chats and channels you belong to are read.
- What you must not see in Teams, the assistant does not see either.
- There is no background listening. Without your question nothing is fetched.
Connect
- 01Open Apps, Connectors area, Microsoft 365 tile.
- 02On the Microsoft Teams card, click Connect.
- 03Sign in with Microsoft and confirm. If your organization requires IT approval, anymize takes you to the right button.
- 04Done. One sign-in covers the whole suite; you do not need to sign in to Outlook and OneDrive separately.
If you later want to exclude Teams without disconnecting Microsoft entirely, turn off the Teams area under Manage in the Access section.
Does anymize post messages in our channels?
No. For Teams there is no write action here. The assistant can read and summarize chats and channels, but not post, reply or delete. There is also no switch that would turn that on.
If you want to share a result with the team, you copy the summary from chat and post it yourself. That is deliberate: in a channel a message is immediately in front of many people, and that decision should sit with a human.
What gets anonymized
In chats names sit denser than anywhere else, plus phone numbers, addresses and quickly written details from ongoing cases. Authors, mentioned people and message text are therefore replaced by placeholders before the large AI model gets the summary. "Anna Berger: Client Yilmaz is calling under 0176 1234567" becomes "[[PERSON_1]]: Client [[PERSON_2]] is calling under [[TELEFON_1]]".
