Under Models you decide which AI models appear in the anymize chat picker, for your whole team or only for you.

What this page is for
A law firm does not want twenty models in the picker with everyone using something different. Here you shorten the list to what you actually need, for example a fast model for everyday work and a strong one for pleadings.
The page can do exactly two things: add a model and remove one. It is about this account's selection. A team sets it once for all members; a solo account only for itself - and that is stated directly under the heading in both cases.
Whichever model is on the list: names, addresses and file numbers are already replaced by placeholders before the request arrives. Selection decides the tool, not the protection.
The three views

Above the list are search and a filter by jurisdiction: All, EU or outside the EU. On each row you see the vendor, flags for jurisdictions where providers exist, and the usage class. The strong flag is the jurisdiction that is actually served; a faded one only means an offer would exist there.
A self-connected model belongs either to you or to your team. A personal one only you see; a team model your whole team. Whether members may connect their own models you control on the Compliance page with “Forbid custom models”.
Selection is not the same as permission
This distinction saves a lot of hunting. On this page you build the list offered in chat. Who may use which model is decided by the “Model access” rule on the Compliance page, and that can differ per group.
Both work together: adding a model here that a group may not use under the compliance rule does not make it usable for that group. Conversely a grant is useless if the model is not in the selection at all.
Can I allow only European AI models?
Yes, and at two places that work together. On this page you filter by EU and take only those models into the selection. Then nothing else is available in chat.
It becomes binding with the “Model access” rule on the Compliance page. There you have the “EU only” quick pick, and whoever sets it decides for everyone or for individual groups - not only for the display.
What the employee notices
A removed model disappears from the model picker in chat. Existing chats that used it remain readable unchanged.
A regular team member may view the list but not change it. For them the add and remove buttons disappear entirely, and a sentence explains that administration sets the selection. A greyed-out button would be worse advice - it would look as if it might work after all.
One exception: self-connected personal models may also be created and deleted by a regular member, as long as “Forbid custom models” is not set. Those belong to them.
