What this area is for
Before a law firm uses anymize on a client matter, the data protection officer wants two documents. They are here, available at any time, without asking support.
Anonymization is the substance counterpart to the contract: client names and file numbers are replaced by placeholders before a request reaches an AI provider. The contract governs what happens to what is still processed.
The two documents

| BRAO consent declaration | The consent declaration under the German Federal Lawyers' Act (BRAO), for firms with professional secrecy. |
Both files open as PDF in a new window and can be saved, printed and filed with your own documentation.
Do I need a data processing agreement for AI?
If you have personal data processed, yes. That is exactly why anymize anonymizes: what the AI model sees are placeholders. We still process data for you, and that requires the contract.
Read it carefully and attach it to your privacy documentation. For professionally regulated law firms the BRAO declaration comes on top.
Who sees the documents
Every account. This area needs neither a team nor admin rights, because a solo user must also be able to produce the contract.
